Our journey began when neither of us were expecting it. What started as a college friendship blossomed into an inseparable bond. On May 22, 2021, we unexpectedly ran into each other with friends at the Holy Grail Tavern in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the spark between us was immediate.
Despite the distance, after just a few months of talking, we knew that no space could keep us apart. We leaned into our faith and trusted that God’s timing was perfect. As we navigated living in different cities it wasn’t always easy, but it became a defining part of our journey.
Over the last three years, we’ve created cherished memories no matter where we were—whether on countless dates in Lexington or Northern Kentucky. We've loved life together.
On May 11th, 2024, Jake got down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him. There were many nerves but quickly subsided with only excitement and joy. After sharing a private moment reflecting on what God has in store for our future, we were surrounded by so much love and celebration with our families.
As we step into this new chapter, we lean on our faith, confident that God will guide us where he wills.. But if there’s one thing we know, it will always be "us." We're blessed to share this journey with those who matter most to us on a day we will never forget.
